Sendeiros was a band formed in 2008 by Arthus Fochi, Ziza Sales, Pedro Pajé, Miguel Fortunato, Thiago José Amaral, Fernando Pozzobon, and Stella Maiques. Originally named "7 Sendeiros", the group later changed its name to "Sendeiros" after the departure of some members. The band served as both a musical and compositional laboratory and a meeting place for friends who shared a passion for music. In 2012, Arthus Fochi began recording two songs with Marcelo Oiticica in Vila Isabel, Rio De Janeiro. After the initial recordings, Marcelo decided to adopt the project and record the entire album, which featured numerous guest instrumentalists. The album was eventually released eight years later, in 2021. Contributors to the album include violinist Ayran Nicodemo, guitarists Felipe Chernicharo and Gustavo Félix, saxophonist and flutist Gabriel Pontes, beatmaker Bruno Qual, trombonist Serginho Andrade, flutist Aline Gonçalves, among others. In addition to the instrumentalists, Tita Parra participated by singing in two tracks, one of which is a song by Violeta Parra titled "Puerto Montt está Temblando".
